Clara was born and raised in San Sebastian, Spain. After studying Mechanical Engineering and spending some years working in Madrid, she moved with her family to the US. The Jewelry Arts Institute in NYC has been her learning school in 2012-2013. There, she developed her deep appreciation for the ancient jewelry techniques and the art of the handmade jewelry. She works mostly with unique pieces of silver along with semiprecious stones, minerals and other natural materials. Each handcrafted piece aims to enhance the beauty of the person wearing it as well as the jewel itself, devoid of unnecessary artifice. After 6 years living in Central America, where inspiration come from nature as its fullest, she is back in Spain.
